Blackwood Quartet
March 28, 2009, 8:00pm
Through the years, members of the Blackwood family have won 8 Grammy Awards, 27 Dove Awards, and 5 All American Music Awards. They have sold MILLIONS of recordings worldwide, and have been seen and heard on every major television, radio, and cable media outlet. The musical legacy of the Blackwood family began before the 1900’s and has been carried on for more than a century! The sound took on its signature four-part harmony in 1934, when RW Blackwood, Sr., his father Roy Blackwood, and Roy’s brothers Doyle and James founded the original Blackwood Brothers Quartet. Through the years, the family group has taken on different forms and names, but the legend lives on today through the voices and lives of these talented family members and friends: Ron Blackwood, R.W. Blackwood, Rick Fair and John Rulapaugh.

April 5, 2009, 2:00pm
Abraham Lincoln was said to have had a presence as large as life; yet he had a softness, a sweetness, a gentleness. He was brought forth to us to lead us through the most turbulent era our great nation has known. With the war coning to an end, he could at last see his vision of a glorified and reunited country - but it was God’s will that he be sacrificed. The year 2009 is the 200th anniversary of Lincoln’s birth. Witten by noted Lincoln historian Gary Kersey and directed by Bob Ford, please join us in the reliving of… Lincoln’s Last Hours.
